Dr. Blackwell has published two research articles entitled, “Frequency of Root Surface Microgrooves Associated with Periodontal Destruction” in the Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry (November 2016) and “Specific Inactivation of Twist1 in the Mandibular Arch Neural Crest Cells” in Developmental Dynamics (May 2012).
Dr. Blackwell is newly married to another University of Texas alum who he met in college. His wife, Nazli, is currently working in West Lake as a speech-language pathologist. In their free time they enjoy live music, great food, hiking and time with family. They are both are thrilled to be back in Austin where they can enjoy all of what this great city has to offer. Dr. Blackwell is pleased to be a part of the Central Texas Periodontics family and is excited to provide you with excellent and friendly dental care.
